Requirements

• User Import v1.x requires MODX 2.3.x up to MODX 2.8.x
• User Import v2.x requires MODX 3.x and later
• PHP 7.2 (or later)
• optional GoodNews add-on (for importing GoodNews subscribers)

Installation

User Import is free software and available through the MODX package provider from inside your MODX installation - Menu Extras/Installer.

If you need to manually install/update the download version of the package userimport-[version].transport.zip please follow the instructions below.

Manual installation in MODX Revolution 2.3+

1. Open the MODX Extras Installer and click on the small arrow beside the 'Download Extras' button above the package manager grid.
2. From there, select the 'Upload a package' option.
3. Upload the User Import package with the help of the upload dialog.
4. After upload has finished, install it as usual, by clicking on the Install button of the package row.

Updates

Updating User Import is as easy as the initial installation.

Manually updating in MODX Revolution 2.3+

1. Open the MODX Extras Installer and click on the small arrow beside the 'Download Extras' button above the package manager grid.
2. From there, select the 'Upload a package' option.
3. Upload the new version of the User Import package with the help of the upload dialog.
4. After upload has finished, the updated package will be recognized by the package manager and you can update the installation by clicking on the Install button of the package row.
